Junior Year in Review

As I sit here contemplating how to reflect on my junior year, I am having the realization that each year of college has left me a different person at the end than I was at the beginning. Looking back on my junior year, the biggest emotion I feel is gratitude. I am overwhelmed with happiness when I think about the beautiful and intentional ways I’ve prioritized growth in the last year. This year, I feel I’ve finally found calm among the chaos. I’ve finally discovered how to live slowly and intentionally despite having a busy schedule. Among this calm, I’ve also fulfilled goals that I didn’t think I would ever achieve. It has truly been an amazing and impactful year!

The Big Moments

Another emotion I feel when reflecting on this year is pride. I have done things I never dreamt of, and had experiences that will continue to impact me for my whole life. Three of the most memorable of these experiences are presenting at Ohio State’s Midwest Fit Fest, running my first half marathon, and traveling to Tanzania. These are pictured below!

The Little Moments

When I think back to the highs and the lows of this last year, the moments that stick out the most are some of the simplest ones: spending time with my best friends (who I also happen to live with), learning how to crochet, falling in love with audiobooks, and continuing to grow as both a yoga instructor and yoga practitioner.

My junior year was one I will never forget. I have celebrated big wins and found joy in the simple moments. I'm looking forward to seeing what my senior year will bring! To think that in a year I will be a college graduate is mind-boggling - I feel like I just started! While I'm nervous for what's to come, I'm also excited to see the ways that I will grow in the next year.
